New Honey House Coming Soon!

In May, 2016, we started constructing a new honey house on the grounds of Back Forty Bee Farm!  The barn will be built to comply with State of Michigan honey house regulations (you'd be surprised to know how detailed the regulations are) so we'll be able to sell our delicious, raw honey directly to retail outlets throughout the greater Ann Arbor area.  The barn will also have space to host our new beekeeping workshops in the Spring of 2017!

It's April in Manchester, Michigan with 8 inches of snow.  Skiing enthusiasts thrilled . . . . bees, not so much.

Good thing the bees have plenty of honey stored up to keep them nice and toasty inside!
